       Ugedei Khan Palace Holiday resort is located 120 kilometers away from Huhhot city, around 2100 meter above sea level; it is a high land prairie. Its scenery is unique, full of traditional histories; there are 6 main spots to look out :First is the endless prairie, flowers bloom colorfully in spring, summer and autumn, in winter, the white prairie links with the sky. Next is the second largest windmill farm in Asia, snow white windmills blend into the green prairie and forms a beautiful view.Third is long-lived ecotypic ravine and Xue Quan ravine gullied by volcano lava. The gullies are fully of birches and unusual shape willows. Every June, as snow melts, trees start growing new branches along the ground; theysymbolize the strong life force. The peculiar glacier relics - at 4th glacier epoch, the mountains were covered with thick ice, as the weather get warmer, the glacier melted along a gap from top to bottom and dripped on to the rocks day by day, consequently this action has formed drumlins. There is another attraction called "Ninety nine springs" which are to be found all over Huitengxile Prairie, the springs sparkles if looked from above and they look just like scattered pearls.

In 1231, the third son of Genghis Khan, Ugedei Khan, built a Dian Jiang stage here for him to issue orders to his army. Even though Dian Jiang stage has only small remains left, but we can still imagine back in the days, the spectacular view when the khan ordered millions of troops to attack. Everybody knows the story of MuLan but most of people would not know that here is the place that she led the army and fought gloriously. There are still many exciting and affecting histories about this place. These are extremely rare and valuable historical culture relics.
       There is a forest of birches that is 2 kilometers away from the tourism center, unusual shaped willows grow in the squiggly creeks has made a unique prairie scenery. The palace and golden roof lobby could accommodate around 1000 guests daily. There is a function room that combines dining and performing which can sit up to 800 people, two traditional Mongolian restaurants which can sit up to 200 people each.
